Millenium Development Goals

The eight Millenium Development Goals, adopted by the United Nations and agreed to by all the world's nations, are a blueprint for eliminating global poverty.

The Episcopal Church's 75th General Convention voted in June 2006 to make the goals the top mission priority for the church over the next three years. To carry this out, the Convention endorsed a campaign called ONE Episcopalian in partnership with with ONE: The Campaign to Make Poverty History. You can read more about this effort here.

More information about the campaign and the Millenium Development Goals are available in the back of church. See Brian if you want to buy a white "ONE" wristband to support the campaign.
